Given :-

Sulphur Dioxide + Water

Find :-

Balance the chemical equation .

We need to know ?

For solving this we first have to do in chemical equation.

of Water and Sulphur Dioxide . After that we can again Turn to Word equation.

 \rm \: So,  \: the \:   {\bf Chemical \:  formula } \: of  \: { \bf Water} \: is  \:  \bf H_{2} O

\rm And,the \:   {\bf Chemical \:  Formula  } \: of  \: { \bf Sulphur Dioxide} \: is  \:  \bf SO_{2}

Now, The Product formed by them is

 \rm\bf H_{2}SO_3

So, now balancing them

  \rm \bf SO_{2} + \bf H_{2} O \rightarrow \: \bf H_{2}SO_3

So, see here that is it completely balanced or not :-

  \begin{tabular}{c |  l}  Right hand side &  Left hand side \\ \cline{1-2} O_2+O = \bf\:O_3    &    \bf \: O_3  \\  \bf\:S & \bf\:S  \\ \bf\:H_2 &  \bf\:H_2  \end{tabular}

So, in word equation it becomes Sulphur Dioxide + Water = Sulphurous acid .
