Plasma membrane is made of phospholipid bilayer. The are arranged in this sequence p-l-l-p. where p (protein) is outermost and innermost layer while l (lipids) is the middle layer.
Membrane also contain sugar, protein and carbohydrates.
Hope this helps.

HLO MATE HERE IS UR ANSWER

. Biochemical investigation reveal that the cell membrane possess protein and carbohydrates .

. The cell membrane is composed of lipids arranged in a bilayer.

. Within the membrane , the polar (hydrophilic ) head is towards the outer side and the hydrophobic tail is towards the inner part.

. This ensures that non polar tail of saturated hydrocarbons is protected from the aqeous environment.

. The fluidmosaic model was proposed by singer and Nicolson.

. It is widely accepted model.

. According to this model , the quasi - fluid nature of lipid enables lateral movement of proteins within the overall bilayer .
