Answer: Central- Ideas

1.The Little Black Boy:

'The little black boy' is an eighteenth century poem written by William Blake. The central idea of the poem is 'racial equality' and 'sense of brotherhood among human race'. The poem deals with the interests of black lives. It has message of eternity, that this worldly life is not permanent. The earthly identity is temporary and all are worthy of god's love. The skin colour is an outcast, the reality lies in the color of the soul.

2.Television:

'Television' poem is a social poem written by Roald Dahl. The central theme of the poem is 'avoiding of the television'. The poet says the television is an idiot-box. It is ruining the younger generation. It has clogged the mind. The sense of 'art' and 'imagination' is being lost nowadays. It is utmost concern to keep children away from it. The posterity will be thankful to the adults.
