1. In the presence of cofactors like Na+, Mn²+, Co²+ and other co enzymes activity in them increases.

2. In a minute it is possible to transfer a million of enzymes hence they are highly efficient.

3. Only one reaction can be catalysed by any one catalyst and hence they are very specific in nature as well.

4. They require high temperature about 298K to 310K.

5. They will be properly active in pH of 5 to 7.
