Compounds can be of three types, which are: covalent compounds, metallic compounds and ionic compounds...A compound is formed when two or more elements chemically combine together . their ratio is fixed everywhere whereas a mixture is combination of two or more substance which can be separated physically and their ratio is not fixed everywhere
