Answer:

Hey mate i have detail ans of it

IF U LIKE IT THEN MARK IT BRAINEST

Explanation:

Private cars take up a lot of space compared to rail or bus transport systems. When people want to get around in a city, a rail system moves more people to their destinations using less land. And when the systems are used, it is less fuel per passenger than driving a car. Less fuel and thus less air pollution.

Buses share the roads with private autos, and gain their efficiency from carrying many people each trip.

In cities, most trips in a private auto have only the driver in the vehicle.

Private auto can be convenient if the car can be parked close to the destination. That is most often possible in lower density land use, like single family homes with on site parking. The private car is less convenient at an apartment building where people reach their own place by elevator. There is not space for parking the auto a short walk from the destination.

Trying to solve the parking issue with acres of asphalt parking lots does provide a parking space, but it may be quite a long walk to get into the building that is your destination. When the asphalt lot is not in use, it sits empty, an impervious surface that will not let the rain soak into the ground. It is just hardscape that contributes to flooding. There are many trade-offs in making a transportation system that is both useful for getting where we want to go, and not making more problems as to air and water quality than we can tolerate.

Before there were private cars, many towns had street car lines, towns much smaller than would have them now, because there were people to ride them. Their option was walking or not making the trip. The first “omnibuses” were pulled by horses, a sobering thought. It means the desire to be close to each other in the city, with a lot of people travelling shared routes, preceded the invention of engines and electric-powered rail line
