there are three types of coal that are known to me :-
(i)Anthracite=> it contain 80% - 90% of carbon . it is known as the purest form of coal.
(ii) Bituminous=> it contain 65% - 75% of carbon. thus , burns slow than Anthracite.
(iii)Lignite=>it contains 40% - 55% of carbon. thus , it burns slower than Bituminous.
ACCORDING TO ME "ANTHRACITE " IS THE BEST FORM OF COAL
