Binary fission is method of asexual reproduction wherein a single celled organism divides exactly into two daughter cells. Multiple fission, meanwhile, is where a single celled organism divides into a large number of daughter cells.

BINARY FISSION :-
1. it occurs when the environment condition is favourable for the organism
2. There is no protection covering formed outside the cell.
3. Only two new organism are formed by this type of reproduction.
MULTIPLE FISSION:-
1. it occurs when the environment condition are unfavourable for the organism.
2. A protection covering called cyst is formed outside the cell.
3. Many new individual are formed by this type of reproduction.
