Warm blooded animal :This term refers to those animals which can maintain their temperature higher than the environment using various metabolic process. Eg mammals,birds,reptiles and amphibians

Ectothermic Animal: These are commonly known as cold blooded animal.It refers to those animals which cannot regulate it's own body temperature. Eg fishes,crabs,lobsters,few amphibians and reptiles.
