Answer:

i) The main function of the Malpighian tubules of insects is the excretion of nitrogenous products and other remains of metabolites. The Malpighian tubules also secrete fluids within the posterior intestine where they are reabsorbed and certain substances are transported into the hemolymph .

ii) Tentacles are slender, flexible organs on the head. They may function in sensory perception and in actually securing food.

iii) The nephridium (plural nephridia) is an invertebrate organ, found in pairs and performing a function similar to the vertebrate kidney. Nephridia remove metabolic wastes from an animal's body.

iv) The eight comb rows that extend orally from the vicinity of the statocyst serve as organs of locomotion. Each comb row is made up of a series of transverse plates of very large cilia, fused at the base, called combs.

v)The radula, part of the odontophore, may be protruded, and it is used in drilling holes in prey or in rasping food particles from a surface. It is supported by a cartilage-like mass (the odontophore) and is covered with rows of many small teeth (denticles).
