Force of limiting friction

The value of friction which prevent the body from entering in state of motion(Which is upto a certain value).

For eg

Suppose force of limiting friction for a surface is 10 And a body is resting over it If apply a force of 9 N the body will not enter into motion.

But if we apply a force of 10.1N the body will start moving
