Give the list of different types of gastric glands with their function

There are three types of gastric glands--

1) Cardiac gastric gland :- It is present just at the beginning of stomach.It secretes mucus that protects the stomach from hydrochloric acid.

2) Intermediate gastric gland:- It is also called true gastric gland and it is present in the central stomach. This gland has three types of cells that are
 a) Parietal cells-- It secretes hydrochloric acid.
 b) Zymogenic cells-- It secretes enzyme pepsin and renin.
 c) Mucous neck cells --It helps in the production of mucus.

3) Pyloric gland :- It is present in the terminal region of the stomach.It also secrets mucus that protects the inner-lining of the stomach.
