Equality simply means treating everyone with equal respect. Though all men and women are different in nature, they should be treated equally by providing equal opportunities.  

Equality is of different types- political, social, gender, legal, racial, economic, opportunity/education etc.  

It does not mean that a masonry worker should be paid as much as a doctor or scientist. He should be paid as much as his work demands. But at the same time he should be given equal opportunities like educational, political, legal, social, gender equality.  

Though all other equalities can be implemented, economic equality is not possible unless we have Socialistic views.

Equality thus is a vast concept which can be practised only through willingness of society and the government.
