The least distance of distinct vision is the minimum distance of an object to see clear and distinct image. It is 25 cm for a young adult with normal visions. Answer: (c) The relaxation or contraction of ciliary muscles changes the curvature of the eye lens.

(A) A special ability of the eye ; the ciliary muscles of the eye change the focal length of an eye lens to focus distant , as well as nearly objects , clearly on the retina . This special ability is called power of accommodation.

(B) The minimum distance at which objects can be seen most distinctly is called least distance of distinct vision.
