- Unicellular protists are examples like an amoeba. Amoeba species like Entamoeba histolytic is a unicellular organism.
- Euglena is also a unicellular protist. Paramoecium is also a unicellular protist. Plasmodium vivax, the causative agent of dengue is also a protist.
