Answer:

Fossil fuels like coal and petroleum are exhaustible. The conditions that exist on the earth and lead to their formation, no longer exist today. Does the rate at which they are used up today will lead to the depression soon .

\bf\huge\underline{Question}

Give the names of the two energy sources that you would considered to be exhaustible. Give reasons for your choice.

\bf\huge\underline{Answer}

Two energy sources that I would considered to be exhaustible are -

  1. Fossil fuels
  2. Nuclear fuels

My reason for choosing these two sources is

  • Fossil fuels: Due to their increased use and less rate of replenishment, we are likely to run out of them.
  • Nuclear fuels: These are not available on Earth in large quantities, we have limited reserves of thorium, uranium or plutonium.
