The properties of potable water are:


a. It should be clear & colourless


b.it should not contain any harmful terms or bacteria


c.it should be free from salts which endanger human life such as- nitrates, cyanide.


d.it should have good taste.taste in water is due to small amounts of dissolved gases and minerals in water.
