Electromagnetic radiation in this range of wavelengths is called visible light or simply light. A typical human eye will respond to wavelengths from about 390 to 700 nm. In terms of frequency, this corresponds to a band in the vicinity of 430–770 THz.

Light is electromagnetic radiation. When we say light we generally refer to visible light which is visible to human eye and is responsible for the sense of sight.Thd light having wavelength in the range of 400 to 700 nanometres(nm) between infrared with longer wavelengths and ultraviolet with shorter wavelengths.

I hope it will help you....
