<I><b> Hey there ✌⭐⭐☺⭐⭐☺⭐⭐☺⭐⭐☺⭐⭐☺ here's the answer.........<b><I>

✨Zinc blend is an ore which has more concentration of zinc in the form of zinc sulphide.. (ZnS)

✔And we know that metal sulphide undergoes by the process of roasting i.e. the process of heating an ore in the presence of sufficient amount of oxygen..... after that Zn is extracted from the Zn2O.

✔ZnS + 2O2-------> Zn2O + SO2

then again by treating with Carbon which is also a reducing agent helps to get the corresponding metal...

✔2Zn2O + C ---------> 4Zn + CO2

✨ in case of calamine ore ..

✔ Calamine ore is an ore in which Zinc is present as ZnCO3

✔ here ZnCO3 is undertaken by the process of calcination i.e. the process by which the metal oxide are obtained by heating in insufficiency of oxygen...

✔ ZnCO3 ----O2------> ZnO + CO2

now ZnO is treated with the reducing agent Carbon....

✔ 2ZnO + C------>2 Zn + CO2

hope it helps you ✔✔✌✌⭐⭐☺⭐⭐☺⭐⭐☺⭐⭐☺

Extraction of Zinc - Zinc is extractedthrough carbon reduction of the ore Zinc blende (ZnS) ore by specially designed blast furnaces. The process contains the following steps. ... Roasting - The concentrated ore is heated in a blast furnace at 900o C where Zinc sulphide is converted toZinc oxide.
