Answer:

Explanation:When an acid reacts with metal, a salt and hydrogen are produced: acid + metal → salt + hydrogen An example: nitric acid + calcium → calcium nitrate + hydrogen The salt that is produced depends upon which acid and which metal react.

Answer:

Metal M + Acid gives Hydrogen gas (if Metal is above Hydrogen in reactivity series ) and Respective Metal salt

2Na +HCl ----> 2NaCl + H2

for carbonic acid and Sulphuric acid they will give caronates or bicarbonates and Sulphates and Bisulphates + Hydrogen gas depending on the temperature

And with Nitric acid it gives Nitates + Hydrogen

gas Special cases are there for Copper and Zinc with nitric acid

Hope this helps :-)
