Give the salient features of bryophyta with two examples.

The bryophyte is a division in plant kingdom which includes mosses, liverworts and hornworts.

There are some specific characteristics of bryophyte.

One of these characteristics is that it doesn’t have true vascular tissue.

Some plants do have some specialized cells which does help in carrying water to the different parts of the plant but these are not true vascular tissues as these tissues doesn’t contain lignin.
