Angle ABD = DBC ( Bisector )

Angle BDA = BDC = 90°

Sides BD = BD ( Common sides )

So by ASA both triangles are congruent .

So there correspondence sides will also be equal .

AB = BC

$3y + 1 = 5x - 2 \\ 5x - 3y = 3$

And

$x + 2 = y + 1 \\ y = x + 1$

So we just got a pair of equation which is easily solvable .

Put value of y in equation 1 .

$5x - 3(x + 1) = 3 \\ 5x - 3x - 3= 6 \\ x = 3 \\ y = x + 1 = 4$
