After Percy realises that Luke had stolen the lightning bolt and was working for Kronos, he becomes angry and starts violently fighting with Luke not noticing the pit scorpion on his leg. The pit scorpion bites him and he becomes unconscious. Later he wakes up is in an underground cell and Luke comes up to him and whispers in his ear that he was in a prison designed by Kronos who was going to execute him in 2 days
In Camp Half Blood, Percy's absence is noticed and Annabeth and Chiron start preparing for war.
