saturated hydrocarbon have single bond.
For example- Ethane(C2H6)
unsaturated hydrocarbon contain double and triple bond. For example-- Ethene(C2H4) and
ethyne(C2H2)
hope it helps

In saturated compound, carbon atom does not form multiple bonds with carbon atom. E.g. ethane.
But in unsaturated compound carbon-carbon multiple bond are there. E.g. ethane, ethyne.
In saturated compound, carbon shows four different bonds but in unsaturated compounds it does not show.
