SYMPTOMS- headaches,poor appetite,aches and pains,fever,diarrhea,lethargy, etc.
CAUSES-bacteria (Salmonella typhi) present in contaminated food and water.
PREVENTION & CONTROL- antibiotics which kill the bacteria, vaccines,safe drinking water, improvement in sanitation,adequate medical care,avoid drinking untreated water, avoid raw fruits and vegetables,wash your hands,etc.
