Hey you are on the right way to get your answer:-

See the attached picture for diagram.

  1. Cornea:- the clear protective outer layer of the eye.
  2. Iris:- a dark coloured muscular diaphragm which controls and regulates the amount of light entering the eye. It does so by adjusting the size of the pupil.
  3. Pupil:- The opening in the centre of the iris. IT appears black as no light is reflected from it.
  4. eye lense:- a convex lens made up of transparent crystalline layers.
  5. Cilliary muscels:- the flexible muscles which enables the eye lense to change its shape for clearly seeing objects at different distances.
  6. retina:- the light sensitive screen of the human eye on which the image is formed . It contains two types of photosensitive cell's called rods and cones cells.
  7. Optic nerves:- the nerves which transmits the image formed (or visual information) on the retina to the brain in the form of electrical signals.

Hope it helps take care of yourself and your family
