The growth irrelevant movement is actually the directional movement of a plant that is triggered by any kind of stimulus and usually it is a very slow type of movement of the plant parts. The most common three examples of growth irrelevant movement are as follows – 

Closing of the leaves of Mimosa or Touch-me-not plant, whenever those leaves are touched 

Curling of the leaves of Drosera plant for trapping insects, whenever touched by any insect 

The opening of the lotus petals in the morning with the first touch of sunlight
