The three examples of secondary storage devices are:

1. Hard Disk Drive (HDD): It is the most commonly used and cheapest secondary storage device available in the present time. It uses moving mechanical parts and hence is susceptible to wear and tear. Moreover, it provides an average speed.

2. Solid State Drive (SSD): Solid State Drives are the drives which do not have any moving parts within them and have a much higher speed than the traditional Hard Disk Drives (HDDs). They don’t have moving parts and hence are not susceptible to wear and tear. Moreover, their size is also very small in comparison to Hard Disk Drives.

3. USB Flash Drives or Pen Drives: These are the most commonly used removable drives which are mainly used for transferring data.
