The tap root has an main root and the other root come from the main root
A straight tapering root growing vertically downwards and forming the centre from which subsidiary rootless spring

Fibrous root:
The root that do not have main root is called fibrous root
They grow downward and outward with repeating branches to from a mass of small root
For example : grass , wheat, rice, marigold
