(a) Water at room temperature is a liquid, because at room temperature, water exits as liquid. Above 100°C, it exits as boiling water or vapour, and below 0°C it exists as ice.

(b) An iron almirah is a solid at room temperature, because he melting point of iron is very high, 2860°C. At any temperature below this and also at room temperature, iron exists as solid.
