1) Flowers doesn't need to be colourfull.. to attract insectes..

2) Does not depends on air, water for transfer of pollen grains..

☆Disadvantage of self pollination:

1) there is not any variations in progeny.

2) if any disses in parent plant it also transfer to progeny.

1) flower get variation.

2) And, They are mostly hybrid that help it to grow more fruits..

☆Disadvantage of cross pollination..

1) Flower must have to be colourfull to attract insectes..

2) they have to produce pollen grains in large numbers..
