Pressure is the force acting on a unit area of the object.
Pressure=Force/Area
Applications based on concepts of Pressure:
1.School bags have wider strips so that weight of the bag may fall over large surface area of the shoulder of the child producing less pressure on shoulder.
2. The tools meant for cutting , have a Sharpe edge so that force applied by our hands falls over a very small surface area of object producing a large pressure. And this pressure cuts the object easily.
