1.Handles of cooking vessels are made of insulators such as plastic, so that we can hold them easily.

2.Ice-boxes are made of double walled containers .Air is being trapped inside the space. Air being a bad conductor of heat doesn't allow outside heat to enter the box.

3.The natives of Alaska make igloos from snow. The air trapped in snow acts as an insulator and doesn't allow heat from inside to go out, thus keeping the igloo warm..
