plastids are oval shaped cell organelle present only in plant cell. They have ground matrix called stroma and stacked-coins like cells called thylakoids which help in photosynthesis. several thylakoids are joined by a strip-like called stroma lamealle.Plastids are known as "kitchen of plant cell"
