1. Bal Gangadhar Tilak was a writer he criticized the British through writing by spreading it through many people through newspapers. He edited two newspapers they are- Kesari in Marathi and Mahratta in English.

2. His aim was to educate the Indian people and make British get out of India through non violence and by criticizing British as much as through many ways. Even in jail he read and write many books . One of it is Gita Rahasya a part Bhagavad  Gita
