1. While playing carrom, We hit the bottom most piece with the striker. All piece remains there except the last one. The piece moves out of the row. This is because when the striker hits the last piece, it starts moving but rest piece fall vertically downwards due to inertia of rest.
2. While standing in a moving bus we are also moving along with it. But as soon as the bus stops we tend to fall forward. This is because when the bus the stops, the part of our body in contact with the bus stops but the upper body moves forward due to inertia of motion.
