Answer:PbNO3 ----> PbO + NO2 + O2

When lead nitrate is heated in a test tube, we can observe two different colors. This is because, on heating, PbNO3 decomposes into lead oxide(PbO) which is yellow in color and Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) is formed which is yellowish-brown.

Also, oxygen gas is evolved.
