Let a = 0.515115111511115…. and b = 0.5353353335….

The number a and b are both irrational numbers. The decimal representations of a and b and non terminating and non repeating.

We observe that the second place of their decimal representations are distinct . Number a has digit 1 and b has digit 3. So, a < b.

consider the numbers c = 0.5152 and d = 0.532

Clearly, c (0.5152 ) and d (0.532 ) both are rational numbers such that a < c < d < b
