Every radio and TV broadcast, almost every electric motor or dynamo, almost every transformer operates according to Maxwell’s equations, which are all based on gradient, divergence and curl. All of these are designed using Maxwell’s equations.

Grad, div and curl are also fundamental for fluid flow, particularly compressible mediums (gasses). And our society operates on fluid flow - from pipelines to jet engines.  

They are almost everywhere in the “real world”.
