Hi , there !!
water is LIQUID at room temprature because , it's boiling as well as freezing point doesn't effect .
at we know it's boiling point is 100° and freezing point is 0°
as the water doesn't come in these situations water will remain liquid .
2 ) water occupied the shape of contener.
which have no definite shape , size and volume
these are property of water which show the condition to be liquid at room temperature .
hope it helps you !!!!
thanks !!

The two reasons why water is liquid at room temperature are as follows:
- The melting or freezing point of water is 0°C while its boiling point is 100°C. This means that water will be solid below 0°C, gas above 100°C and, liquid in between 0° and 100°C. Since the room temperature is typically taken as 25°C, it falls in the latter category. Hence, water is liquid at room temperature.
- The intermolecular forces acting on water molecules at room temperature are very moderate. Hence, the forces of attraction are weak but not so much as in gas. Hence, it behaves as a liquid at room temperature.
