Two ways that I can think of. Prisms, like the water that the raindrops are made of, have different refractive indices than air. Raindrops, like prisms, have sides or boundaries that are non parallel.

The similar properties of raindrop and prism is bending and diverging properties.

EXPLANATION:

When the light enters in to the prism and the rain drop, the light bends and separate in to different wavelength. Thus, it allows the light to appear as rainbow colours such as 'Violet', 'Indigo', 'Blue', 'Green', 'Yellow', 'Orange' and 'Red'. Hence the raindrop and prism act almost same in feature on considering these two aspect (bending and diverging).
