Answer:

1.  Our Earth is a vast planet. Due to movement of tectonic plates, seven continents are formed on Earth . ... The continents i.e. land is about 25% and ocean and other water bodies are on 75% area of Earth.

2. The surface of the earth changes. Some changes are due to slow processes, such as erosion and weathering, and some changes are due to rapid processes, such as landslides, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes.

3. Exogenic (or exogenetic) factors are agents supplying energy for actions that are located at or near the earth's surface.

Actually earthquakes and volcanic eruptions are endogenic since there origin is from below the crust of the earth where the endogenic factors work in the earth's interior invisibly.

5. A river basin is the portion of land drained by a river and its tributaries. It encompasses all of the land surface dissected and drained by many streams and creeks that flow downhill into one another, and eventually into the Milwaukee River.

Diagram* is at the end of the answer no. 8

6. A tributary or affluent is a stream or river that flows into a larger stream or main stem (or parent) river or a lake. A tributary does not flow directly into a sea or ocean. ... A confluence, where two or more bodies of water meet together, usually refers to the joining of tributaries.

The two major tributaries of the river Brahmaputra :- Dibang river, Teesta river.

7. Erosion is the process that wears away the river bed and banks. Erosion also breaks up the rocks that are carried by the river. ... Abrasion - When pebbles grind along the river bank and bed in a sand-papering effect. Attrition - When rocks that the river is carrying knock against each other.

8. Lateral erosion refers to the widening of a stream channel or valley ... lateral erosion in the river is the erosion of the river banks basically the river destroys it's bank by mechanical force, usually during the high water levels and the floods. hope it helps you.
