Portia is the beauty of the play as she is very intelligent .she plays her trump card and allows shylock to have a pound of fleshof antanio but themn she mentioned him not to shed any drop of antanio s blood. clearly he cant do that. Portia turned the tables on shylock. she has done thr great work and saved the life of antanio
