• Shantiniketan is a Bolpur city district in the Bolpur subdivision of Birbhum. Santiniketan draws 1,2 million visitors annually, according to the Human Development Report for Birbhum, 2009.

Things could be done to establish Shantiniketan as an international destination :-

• Try and discover it often enough.
• If this is achieved by a group of people, it will become a trademark in some time, and it will ultimately become an international destination.
