Answer below:

Sin A = \frac{15}{17}=15/17 and Sec A = \frac{17}{8}=17/8

Explanation:

Given,

15 cot A =8 => cot A = 8/15=\frac{8}{15}

Also, cot A =  Base/Perpendicular

By Pythagoras' Theorem, we have

Hypotenuse^{2} = Base^{2}+Perpendicular^{2}

Hypotenuse^{2}  = 8^{2}+15^{2}

Hypotenuse = \sqrt{64+225}

Hypotenuse = \sqrt{289}

Hypotenuse = 17

So, Sin A = \frac{Perpendicular}{Hypotenuse}=\frac{15}{17}

Sec A = \frac{Hypotenuse}{Base}=\frac{17}{8}

Hope it helps.....
