Tropical Evergreen forests of India are found in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the Western Ghats, which fringe the Arabian Sea, the coastline of peninsular India, and the greater Assam region in the north-east. Small remnants of evergreen forest are found in Odisha state.

FEATURES OF TROPICAL EVERGREEN FOREST ARE :

i) These evergreen forests are found in warm and wet regions. ii) These are found where the rainfall is more than 200cm, with a short dry season. iii) These are found in the rainy slopes of western ghats,plains of West Bengal and Odisha and the North-eastern India
