Hey,
Ur answer is here,
3x
It can also be written as 3x^1.
It has the highest degree of 1. Hence it is a linear polynomial.
Hope it helps you ☺️

hey buddy!

After combining the degrees of terms if the highest degree is 1 it is called Linear Polynomials.

For example:

9x + 9y + 9 :
This can also be written as 9x1 + 9y1 +9
Term 9x has the degree 1
Term 9y also has the degree 1
Term 9 has the degree 0
As the highest degree we can get is 1 it is called Linear Polynomial.

hope it helps,
thanks!
