Given cot θ = 17/18

find cos θ and cosec θ​

cot A = \frac{Adjacent}{0pposite} = \frac{17}{18}

H → Hypotenuse side

A → Adjacent side

O → Opposite side

H^2=A^2+O^2\\H=\sqrt{A^2+O^2} \\H=\sqrt{17^2+18^2}\\H=\sqrt{289+324}\\H=\sqrt{613}\\

H → Hypotenuse side → \sqrt{613}

A → Adjacent side → 17

O → Opposite side →`18

 

Cos A =\frac{A}{H} =\frac{17}{\sqrt{613} }

Cosec A = \frac{H}{O} =\frac{\sqrt{613} }{18}
