Example of Hyperglycemic hormone and hypoglycemic hormone:

  • The hyperglycemic hormone is from islets of 'Langerhans', 'promotes glycogenolysis', 'glucogenesis', 'lipolysis', and 'ketogenesis'. The other abnormalities lead to diabetes mellitus.
  • Hypoglycemia is the glucagon, Insulin, epinephrine, cortisol and growth hormone.
  • The pancreas allows the body to use the sugar from the carbohydrate which is a result of allowing the sugar to be used for further energy. The insulin helps the body to keep the sugar level optimum.
