Answer:

Explanation:

Super Senses:

Our five senses help us to get information about the world around us . Like this only animals also use their five senses to know about their surroundings . They have a very strong sense of sight , smell , hear , touch , taste . These well developed senses help them to survive better in their environment.

Super Sense - Sight:

Some animals have strong sense of sight. Their eyes are fixed and located on either side of the head . They tilt their head quite often . Most of the birds have their eyes fixed on either side and so they can see different objects at a time . They move their heads so as to focus each eye on different objects . When they look straight, they do have the vision like human beings focusing on only one object .

Examples of Super Sense Sight:

Examples of Super Sense Sight Eagles -

All eagles are renowned for their excellent eyesight, and the bald eagle is no exception. They have two foveae or centers of focus, that allow the birds to see both forward and to the side at the same time. Bald eagles are capable of seeing fish in the water from several hundred feet above, while soaring, gliding or in flapping flight.  Eagles, like all birds, have color vision. An eagle's eye is almost as large as a human's, but its sharpness is at least four times that of a person with perfect vision. The eagle can probably identify a rabbit moving almost a mile away. That means that an eagle flying at an altitude of 1000 feet over open country could spot prey over an area of almost 3 square miles from a fixed position.

Super Senses - Smell: Some animals have strong sense of smell . The sense of smell help animals to find food. They also help from staying out of danger. Man uses the sniffing capacity of dogs for detecting lethal weapons , criminals and for defusing bombs. Super Senses - Smell

Examples of Super Sense of Smell : Examples of Super Sense of Smell Dogs -

Smell is the dog’s dominant sense, so much so that a huge part of its brain is devoted to analysing odours. Dogs can detect odours that are up to 40 feet underground. Dogs can smell human fingerprints that are a week old.  Dogs can detect cancer in humans. Scientists think that simply by sniffing samples of human’s breath, dogs can detect lung, breast and other cancers with an accuracy rate of between 88 and 97 percent. The accuracy rate of a multi-million-pound hospital scanner is between 85 and 90 per cent. Dogs can also be trained to alert people with heart conditions they are about to suffer a seizure.  Dogs help Police and Forensic department to extract information on theft and murder.

Super Sense - Hearing:

Some animals have strong sense of hearing. Most of the noises that bats make are above the range of human hearing. Many animals have the ability to detect sounds that we can’t hear. Some, such as cats and dogs, can hear noises higher than a mouse’s squeak. Others, such as elephants and some birds, can hear sounds lower than the rumble of distant thunder. All of these animals have a super sense of hearing. People can only detect these superhigh or superlow sounds with the help of special listening devices. Super Sense - Hearing

Examples of Super Sense of Hearing: Bats -

Examples of Super Sense of Hearing Bats are the experts of the ultrasonic world. They are divided into two groups, the  microbats  and the  megabats . Most microbats are insect eaters. All microbats rely on ultrasound to guide them when they fly and to help them find food and communicate with each other. The large, fruit-eating megabats can make ultrasounds too, but they do not use them when flying or searching for food. Bats make sounds in their voice box just like you do. Some bats send out sound through their mouths. Other bats use their noses. These bats often have flaps of skin on their faces called nose leaves. Scientists think that they may use these flaps to point the sound in a certain direction. Bats can direct their cries very precisely, in the same way that you can point a flashlight to shine a narrow beam of light.
